Biographical Info

The Georgetown Texas Area Car Club (GTACC), founded in 2004, is a non-profit 501(c)(7) Social and Recreation Club dedicated to promoting the enjoyment of classic, antique and special-interest vehicles.

GTACC awards the “Bob Olofson Memorial Scholarship” to graduating Georgetown and East View High School seniors who have successfully completed the Automotive Technology Program and have committed to continuing their formal education. GTACC also contributes to local charities or other worthy causes on a quarterly basis.

The majority of the funding for the scholarships and other charitable causes supported by GTACC, is raised at the GTACC Car Show, held annually on the first Saturday in May. This event had 201 registered vehicles in 2016 and continues to grow every year, and continues to maintain a reputation for one of the best organized and enjoyable car shows in the central Texas area.
